Hi there Dustybun. Are you a Lincolnshire Lassie as well?I'm not one really as I was born in Eastbourne
too long ago to remember.I married a Norfolk Dumpling and our four children are all Lincolnshire Yellowbellies.Quite a mixed bunch.Going to peg washing out as it looks as though its going to be a good day for a change.Cheers:0)
Hi patchett! I too am a bit of a fake having been born in Watford many moons ago and came up to Mabo ten years ago. My son was born in Essex and both my parents were Lancashire born (one of Irish parentage!) so the Melting Pot is quite flavoursome!! Hope your washing is dry. I was too late with mine and it's as soggy now as when it went out! But the air here is beautiful. Cheers and well done, you Hot Shot you!! D :0)
Hi Dustybun. My dearly beloved of 53 years had got the washing in for me when I got home.I still manage to do an odd "housekeeping "shift at the residential home where I was a Care Assistant for 22 years.Got to keep my hand in and I love to see the residents and spend time with them.Keep Linking-see you Sat bright and early(I hope)
Joan
Now there's a man who deserves a medal! I do hope he beat the blizzard! You do well to keep your hand in and keep in touch with your 'folks' Joan. I was a resident warden for 24 years but I'm afraid 150 miles is too far to go on a regular basis! I do keep in telephone-touch with them though. Roll on Saturday! Maybe you could be Hot Shot again. I don't think anyone has done it two weeks running yet! Lol Dee :0)
Hi Dustybun.Got my husband a medal for our Golden Wedding as I always said he 'd earned one for putting up with me so long.We cog along but wonder if there will be many Silver Gold or Diamond weddings in the future.I doubt it.He got the washing in just right and now its ironed and put away.Take care,Joan:0)
