Question Author
have just checked and I think you are right Barkei, which will make 33d repertoire
could it be imiDe?
it could be imide or imine, has anyone out there been able to differentiate ?
Personally, I'd go for IMIDE based on one of the definitions I've found.
IMIDE as in Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Dictionary : any compound containing the bivalent group - CONHCO- which makes it a contender, albeit not the first that would come to mind!
Chambers gives IMIDE as the primary answer, referring to the 'compound' 'from ammonia' whereas the definition of IMINE in the same volume doesn't refer to the clue in quite the same way.
Thanks for all the help though and I have finally gone for IMIDE - in th epost!
Imine
