Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

any one doing this crossword? I am a bit puzzled . 9a,has written in a sort of square ,luncheon (6,4) so I have square meal as answer ,but I think 3d is scrap .clue in attempt on paper (5)
also stuck on 16d more content would be more welcome,to finish the saying?(3,7,)??e, ?e?r???

I actually have essay written ,but I saw from earlier post it was scrap ,and it seemed to fit better with clue ,(attempt on paper) But the more I look at it the more I think square meal is right ...

What letters does square meal give you for 3d?
Essay seems a better answer than scrap.

it has letters l,u,n,c,h,e,o,n ,written in a square ,clue is (example of one) (6,4,) so I answered square meal( Sorry if youve not got the crossword its hard to explain)

then ESSAY would be correct because it can mean both an attempt and also a paper (academic)

I don't really understand how scrap fits the "attempt" part of the clue in any case.
