Sometime in the late 70s, early 80s there was a song that I seem to remember being on radio a lot with lyrics along the lines of words of love, words of hate, those are words I cannot say -  (chorus)  Watch your wordsworth/What's your Wordsworth. The chorus sounded like several females, the bits inbetween a solo fem. Sounded a bit like Toto Coelo, but I can't find a reference that links them to it. I haven't heard this song since then (and I was only about 10 at the time) so my apologies if my recollection of the lyrics is way out. Cheers.

Wow! I am gobsmacked by the speed of all your replies! Having looked at the lyrics (cheers lookslikemik) I can see why I couldn't find it in my Guinness book, on t'internet or in the days of Napster. How you lot managed to know what I was on about I'll never know. Top ratings are heading your way.

Lastly but not least, weren't the Tom Tom club some of the Talking Heads under a pseudonym...........

Yep. Tom Tom Club were Talking Heads' rhythm section - the husband and wife team of drummer Chris Frantz and bass player Tina Weymouth.
and a new dance cover version by "chicks on speed" came out last year
