21. Out suggests anagram as does 'new'

Do you have a Chambers dictionary? If you look up the first word of the answer you're doubting, it's any kind of container, especially one for alcohol.

Thanks FoxLee2, unfortunately I do not have a Chambers Dictionary which I shall have to rectify I think, especially if I do many more quizzes like this. In the meantime will try to pop into my local library although I think you have confirmed my answer is correct.
