Holiday recommendations with two toddlers

Does anyone have any suggestions for a holiday in Engalnd that would suit 2 adults and two toddlers aged 2 and 3. This will be our first holiday with them and we have no idea where to go. Not really into the holiday park thing, but not too fussed about accomadation, just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a nice relaxing place to go that would also suit two small children.

Holidays are very personal things and you don't give any idea od budget or where you live and how far you're
willing to travel. so it's difficult to give an answer. Toddlers are happy with simple outdoor stuff and jus having the comfort of their parents/guardians around them. My choice would be a hotel in a typically British seaside resort (and pray for good weather). They will love the freedom of the beach which should tire them out and hopefully give both adults a bit of time to themselves on an evening.
