need help with one answer to my crossword :-)

I have one clue in my crossword I just can't get ..... Set off in territory Evita lost before daughter ....... ?U?O?I ....... although the letters may not be right. Thanks

What are the clues & No of letters that give you the U, O & I.? As you say they may be incorrect.

In addition, which crossword is it from?

Should have explained:
territory = Australian Capital territory = ACT
Evita lost (anagram) = IVATE
daughter = D

I got as far as the anagram of Evita and the D, but apart from that......... I got no further. Kiwilands!

I'm guessing the questioner's name gives a clue as to the familiarity of the territory reference...

oh bugger, all the letters are right but typed in the wrong clue - I am so sorry.
