Also stuck on the following:-

43a.Pointing (a gun) 8. ?????ING
48a. vaulted,jumped(6) thought this was LEAPED but ends with G from INGOT??
I have 34a as PROTRUDED and 30d. as GLUEY

48 - looks like your ingot must be wrong, if the clues end in -ed then so should your answer.
What are the clues for 34a and 30d please?
