I make 6 down troppo as well, but...
I've done the normal clues, got the Quotation, filled in the Author...................but I haven't any idea what to do with the six answers that need 'treating'!
Any hints would be appreciated, I must be getting old!

Ripper - if you've got the quotation then apply it literally to the 6 answers - you'll find they have something in common.
