Mix the letters (Save the Children 2010 quiz)

I'm stuck on the last two for this quiz - any help/clues/advice much appreciated.

The answers are the same word but with the letters mixed - e.g. was/saw

5. Statute - Frame of Mind
I think "Mood" is the answer for 'Frame of mind' but this means it should be 'Doom' for 'Statute' and I don't understand how this might fit - can anyone explain, please?

8.Light Again - He covers roofs
I'm torn between two answers for this one: either "Lite/Tile" or "Relit/Tiler" - what do people think? Of course I might be barking up the wrong tree entirely!

for (5) google the definition of that word you are unsure of.

Thank you, mamyalynne! I've just Googled again and found a definition of my possible word for number (5) with 'statute' in it! (I had tried doing this yesterday via an online search but didn't have any success!) Your sage advice is much appreciated!

8 Is probably tiler / relit and as for 5 I agree with your answer though it is slightly obsure!
