Asking about the settings for a multimeter "for a household UK" is a bit like asking what temperature an oven should be set to "because I want to cook something". We need more information!
Do you want to check that your mains circuit is correctly wired?
Do you want to check whether a 1.5V battery is in good condition?
Do you want to check that there's a continuous circuit, with no 'dodgy connections', somewhere in your house?
The DM25 can do all of those things, and a good deal more, but the instructions for each one are different. Tell us what it is that you're trying to do and we'll try to help you.
