Anyone remember their gran singing this one ?

♫Oh Jemima, look at your uncle Jim,
He's in the duck pond learning how to swim.
First he does the Breaststroke, then he does the Side,
Now he's under water swimming against the tide.♫

It's been going through my head all day, goodness knows why!

Thought it was Auntie Mary tony...
I remember that one tony - got me in trouble many a time when I was young - too catchy by half. Closely linked to canaries down the mine shafts as I recall ;o)
What songs from your youth springs to mind...

The hairy one (very Glaswegian) was "I'm no' Hairy Mary, I'm yer Maw", which brings a whole new feeling to the thread.....
pmsl ttfn, I thought everyone was going to put down the songs they remember from being young. Bit premature there!

Never heard of Jemima only hairy Mary, and that I think was rude.
never mind gran - if I made you smile, it was worthwhile.
And on the upside Butch - only 80 to go now - yay
