anil?
what's the clue please?
Without the clue it's difficult to answer. These are three words that would fit. If your mention of the word "bottom" is a clue I would go for Anal.

anal - of or related to the anus

anil - shrub of West Indies and South America that is a source of indigo dye

enol - an organic compound that contains a hydroxyl group bonded to a carbon atom which in turn is doubly bonded to another carbon atom
It is ANIL -plant

NI (Ulster) in AL(bert)
Anil
That's what I said WTW
Sorry K, I hadn't pressed "refresh"
It would still be nice to see the clue.
