Today Left or Right we have all come together on this special Remembrance Day, but who once again shows no respect?
Yes our so called fellow countrymen, the followers of Islam.
Interesting to note that once again after bearing much provocation from these British born traitors, it is members of the EDL, who the police target, while the Muslims are left free to spew their venom.

everytime this sort of thing happens i just feel sorry for the thousands of moderate individuals who live and work alongside us as part of our communities...colleagues, neighbours etc...their lives might become a little more difficult...one or two more insults in the street...a few more wrong assumptions...
>there are about a dozen of them
And how many bombers were there on 7/7, only about 5 wasn't it.
A dozen angry Muslims can do a lot of damage.
Unfortunately for years our stupid, blinkered politicians have thought it ok to allow hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world (often the third world) to come here live.
If these people come from what we may loosely call a "European stock" then they are more likely to integrate.
Bring them from India, Pakistan, Iraq, Somalia etc etc then you get problems.
It has been a huge mistake and this country will regret it for decades to come.

Majority of the initial influx of immigration during the 50's came from Commonwealth countries, and these immigrants already had an understanding of British culture and values before they arrived. Whether they were Indian, Pakistani or Carribean, they settled in this country, and overcame overt ignorance and racism to establish themselves as British as the white guy next door. These families still live here, their children and grand children are as much a part of the Britsih society as the Maltese, or the Irish. The families serve the country, whether as Dr's, bankers, soldiers or retailers; they all contribute and most of them are vastly proud of their heritage both as British people and as people from whatever background they came from.
This section of society hate the new influx of extremism, probably even more than the white christian population. They see that everything they have worked for, and every hurdle of ignorance and hatred they had to overcome, has been undone by this new wave of immigration.
Do not let the actions of relative newcomers to these shores ruin your views of those who have been here for generations and are more British than you or me!

Gotta say, while I don't hold any truck with anything VHG has said, I kind of agree with AOG's sentiment for once. I've made my views on freedom of speech quite clear on AB before - I view it as an essential means of allowing society to progress by questioning itself and working out which answers are the best.
The protest that AOG has drawn attention to, however, is - to borrow from the famous phrase - about on the same level of entitlement as shouting 'fire!' in a theater. I find it impossible to believe that any of these people could be ignorant about the national sensitivity attached to remembrance day. The protest seems a deliberate attempt on the part of 50 people to cause as much upset and provocation as possible and in this case at least the police seem to have done a great job keeping the two groups from clashing .

Not quite sure where you are coming from here, most likely these yobs have been born here, so are not new comers, unfortunately they belong here.
Regarding 'more British than you or me', I cannot speak for yourself, but they are certainly not more British than me.

AOG, yes the kids have been born here, but it is not the kids who are the problem it is the radical preachers who have grabbed a section of young society and twisted it. The same guys who carried out the 7/7 bombings could just have easily been your dentist in 10 years time.
The preachers are exactly the same as the guys who track down disaffected youngsters and recruit into crime or drugs.
Yes, AOG, some of them are probably more British than I as I come from Maltese descent.

They must learn to accept the facts, that some of their own kind are making life difficult for them.
Therefore they should perhaps form a group that will openly oppose them on the streets, this will then show those who are ready to tar them all with the same brush, that they are not all the same.
Perhaps then it will make those so called 'Far Right' groups sit up and take notice.
Asian, black, Chinese, white, Eastern European, we all should want these traitors driven from our communities.
After this episode they have gone too far, and even if the BNP was to protest at one of their sensitive ceremonies, I would support them all the way.
Free speech is one thing, but this was damn right provocation, carried out purposely to challenge us.
Cameron spoke out condemning the students, I wonder if he has the guts to speak out about these slimy pond life ?
