why wont my R reg Vauxhall Corsa start when i have just been driving it 5 mins ago?
I have just been driving my car with no problems and as i went to pull onto the petrol station my power steering went and the light EPS came on i turned off the engine to put fuel in and went i tried to start it again there was no power at all does anyone have an idea what it could be????

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i had this fault on a S reg corsa many years ago, i was diagnosed an ecu fault but the warranty company wouldn't honour the warranty due to the cost of the part and labour at the time. if i went the 15miles to work it would get me there and back no problems, but if i went down the road it wouldn't start once it was turned off.
So the engine cut out then.You sure it didn't run out of fuel? If you think it may have done, it will take a bit of turning over on the starter to get the fuel through again. Then it should be normal.
If it does NOT start on the starter after turning for 20-30 secs max, there must be another problem. Check imobiliser and/or chip key.
