Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Morning folks, a happy new year to all ABers ....

Stuck on a couple of clues in this one today:2d rich iced cake of layers of puff pstry, whipped cream and jam, also called a millefeuille (8) ?a?o???n
11a hand tool for woodworking (4) ?d??

And, quite apart from these clues, is it my imagination or did the setter have too much to drink before setting this crossword? The answer for 13d is actually 16d in the down clue list, (and there's no 13d in the grid). And - what's the clue for 17d? Bizarre ....

16 down is the clue to 13 down, Isabella I. 17 down is the clue for 16 down, Marigold and the clue 17 down is missing, answer probably ambition. But I think ambition to reproduce all 2011 puzzles without mistakes should be the Telegraph's New year resolution!

13 down clue is printed as 16 down Isabella I. 16 down clue is printed as 17 down, Marigold and the clue for 17 down is missing, probably Ambition. It should be the Telegraph's ambition to print correctly all 2011 puzzles. This one will probably be declared null and void.
