Just putting in envelope when I noticed I haven't confirmed 9ac.!Shell out for primitive deal?(6) C?W?I?. I'm thinking COWRIE but an explanation would be nice please.

I would say Cowrie as that's the shell, and South Sea Islanders used to use cowries instead of money (ie for deals), that's all I can think of.
