Hi,

Got three left, but the one that's annoying me most is 4a: Sailor almost in a depression? Very close (8)

I have _ _ _ A _ E _ T

I see that it should have the word 'lament' in here for depression, and the best I've come up with is COVALENT, which fits – chemistry is a long time ago, but it is a close bond! – but am not sure if it's right, given there is no M (is that the 'almost'?)

If so, is the CO for Chief Officer?

Thanks. Looks like I was thinking too hard there. (Though knowing a Jack was a sailor would have helped!)
