How has your day been today....

Have you been out and about, working, lazing about or busy at home?
Mine has not been so good today. Got up feeling groggy as if I'd done a few rounds with Tyson. Did some shopping and my bag-for-life collapsed and died in Asda. I bought a jumper in M&S yesterday, tried it on this morning and had to take it back as the stitching was coming undone, there was a huge queue of people taking trolleyfuls of sale goods back. It has been really a wet and windy day and I had to go to the photo booth to get a photo for my replacement driving licence, I hope they accept the photo, my hair ist sticking up in places. The photo cost me £5, not exactly studio quality, I felt robbed when I saw the state of myself. I think I'll have an early night tonight.

had day off work, walked up to town, met a mate and her son, went to feed ducks but he fell asleep just as we got there. Came back to mine for a cuppa.

I thought my day was below average, but I came home to find a present in the post, which has boosted me beyond words. I am so lucky to have a great friend who can perform an act of kindness like that.

Nowhere near as bad as yours, ayg.

I work in a Sports shop and I've had to action 9 pages of amendments for a Footwear Sale. I've also had to move the shoes about (By myself) and I'd only completed one section (Should have done 5 sections) by 5:00 p.m. Had to pass on the job to my replacement but I felt like I should have stayed and finished it myself. I felt sorry for the kid who took over - he might have some help to get it finished tonight.

At least I'm off tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your crappy day AYG. Mine was ok. Went to a new playgroup and only wanted to kill one woman and give another one a slap. Parents' evening tonight - was well pleased with how the kids are doing (downside - husband was supposed to be home for me to go but he was late so had to take them all with me).

I have done very little, a bit of quizzing, made a pan of Cauli and stilton soup and have cut my hair which I was trying to grow but got fed up. My lovely curls are back which is a bonus.

So worked from home today.
Had 2 meetings that lasted 3 hours.
Called Alied carpets to see if a rug was in ...they said yes ...then called back to say no...
Had a Chinese takeaway tonight ...
Had shower and n ow on laptop watching tv

My health is good at the moment , so all days are good :-)

Boring. Spoke to an estate agent about a property but I don't think it'll be any good really and sorted out a physio appointment for monday which will hopefully mean I get off at least one of these crutches. I'm in a bit of pain and all TV'd out so generally I'm grumpier than usual today. Ah well... there's always tomorrow!

One of those days AYG, things can only get better tomorrow I hope. My day was a normal work day with no highs or lows until I got home and found some absolute $hit has swiped the tops off my daffs just as they were coming out and left the bits all over the pavement. Same happened 2 years ago. I've got tomorrow off so I will be waiting to fly out the door on my broomstick when the kids walk past to school!

poor you ayg - I hate days like that - mine started ok with usual work and stuff and ended on a high - boys got outstanding reports at school at we've just had the pancakes we should have made on Tuesday but didn't have time to do - bit of a laugh watching them trying to toss them. I am so proud of them though - I always am really, but it was lovely to see that even their teachers could not keep the smiles of their faces when telling us how well they were doing. It's going to cost me though..........

Thanks for your commiserations, I suppose we all have days like this at times, things will probably look brighter tomorrow I feel a bit selfish, at least I'm not ill. Sirandy I'm glad your are feeling fit and well, Micmac you know just what I need to cheer me up your link is one of my favourites and always makes me smile thank you. Mamya hope you are well, I'm so glad you've got your curls back. CD I didn't realise you were still on the crutches, hope you are getting better now.

If you've finished with the crutches China can you pass them this way please. Got a call from the hospital at 9 am to tell me the operation on my ankle (the 6th one) will be on 5th April. Knew it was coming but not looking forward to it. Husband took me out for lunch at local pub which cheered me up but then watching Liverpool lose has depressed me again. Got a large glass of vodka and grapefruit juice to console me though.
