MM Links March week 4

This is Baron Brian here (aka beejay1124) and I am about to embark on my last week as the Regal Links Setter. I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed my offerings so far. Certainly, the gods have looked kindly upon me of late. The “boys in green” had a surprisingly easy victory over the English last Saturday and the following day Rangers beat Celtic in the Scottish League Cup Final. Happy Days indeed!

Weatherwise, we can all be forgiven for believing that Spring has finally arrived. I really must make a start in the garden if the home-grown vegetables are going to be ready on time. House spring cleaning comes a very poor second to spring gardening in my mind. Tomorrow sees the Census completion date and the clocks “spring forward” – it’s a nuisance having to sit up until one o’clock in the morning to do this (so it is!).

According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the usual rule on word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts! Each of my selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.

My final set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.

Curious how some people are getting the links before 9.00. I did a "refresh" just before the 9 o'clock pips on Radio 4 and nothing. The same 5 seconds after the pips and the link words eventually popped up after about 15 seconds.
Strange, eh?!!
