Quiz answers all relate to UK Place names, historic sites, buildings, landmarks, sporting venues, etc.

more questions with which I would appreciate help... have pondered over them all last night - last of the bunch of 50.
1. Metal-plater in House of Lords? (6,4)
2. Dangerous invertebrate on the Gower? (3,4) - not got a clue...
3. Neckwear measurement (7) ... i've played around with bow, tie (sounds like) but no idea...
Treat argument with contempt (5,5)
