Is prince Williams real surname Mountbaton?

Also, I just found out his missus and me share the same initials. We get more similar by the second! :o)

Believe it is now Windsor
What 'CM'?
-- answer removed --
Windsor or Mountbatten-Windsor, or possibly even 'Wales' as that is what his father sometimes goes by.
mountbatton-windsor and prince harrys real name is henry

Oh crap, I forgot she is Catherine so her initials are CEM. Mine are KEM.

I'm still confused about Wills and Harrys name.
Wilkipedia reference

His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales. As a British prince, Harry holds no surname; however, as with the other male-line grandchildren of Elizabeth II, he uses the name of the area over which his father holds title, i.e. Wales (as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie use York, per their father, Prince Andrew, Duke of York).

So he doesn't actually have a surname?
you look alot like fergie in our pic :-)
I think the only royal to incorporate Mountbatten into her surname was Princess Anne.
well I checked my initials in urban dictionary and one of the definitions was "physically tremendous legend"!
Who am I to argue with that!?!
Officially no.

Unofficially Wales.

He is a Prince of the House of Windsor and this came from the 1st World War as it was thought that the germanic "Saxe-Coburg" was totally inappropriate given that we were at war with Germany, led by a direct nephew of Queen Victoria, in the Kaiser Wilhelm
Mine are KCM....

So, what would his passport say? Wales?
He doesnt have one......but if it did then Prince Henry Wales
Question Author
hhmmm, interesting. Thanks for clearing that up DT.

Oh, hang on. ABerrants link seems to sugget Mountbatton-Windsor.
Like David Cameron does not need a passport at the moment as Prime Minister (or ditto his Minsiters and folk like Ambassadors). They are all considered as part of the Diplomatic Corps (but sometimes I wonder about the appropriateness of that term!)
From my link above...

"The effect of the declaration was that all The Queen's children, on occasions when they needed a surname, would have the surname Mountbatten-Windsor.

For the most part, members of the Royal Family who are entitled to the style and dignity of HRH Prince or Princess do not need a surname, but if at any time any of them do need a surname (such as upon marriage), that surname is Mountbatten-Windsor."
