100 -40 degrees Centigrade = -40 farenheit (it's the only temp where they are the same!!)

Thank you boxtops - I did google it and that's what I found but cynical me I thought that it was wrong - now that you have confirmed it I'm happy
wind speed is normally measured in mph/kmh using the Beaufort scale

Singin' in the Rain was originally conceived by MGM producer Arthur Freed. This would suggest that MGM actually produced the original version.
According to my Dad's DVD, MGM produced Singin' in the Rain.

Sorry to throw in a spanner but MGM only distributed Singin' in the Rain it was produced by Loew's Incorporated.Confirmed by imdb and opening credits.
