44. Slang for U.S.A. girl or woman, sounds like you put oar in
Any ideas on this one - driving me crazy. I've seen numerous answers but still not 100% sure on any of them. Honey Rose was given but she's a Malaysian actress - I think that this is too far adrift.
Anybody cracked it??
There have been lots of suggestions on this site. The most likely slang gives Jane or Betty as first name. At one stage I offered Jane Horrocks (sounds a little bit like rowlocks for oars).
