Because the cryptic was Araucaria ... and he was a complete GIT today.

I could hardly do any of them.

Here's a question for you - at least 25 years ago my weekend revolved around doing the Guardian saturday prize crossword and my favourite setter was Araucaria. Do you really think it's the same person today?
