Hope i get better before my hols on thur!

Took unwell thu night. Had to see out of hrs doc as i knew i needed something, missed my final exam yesterday :0(( feel worse today than i did yesterday despite taking my meds regularly...and plenty fluids...doh!!

Im getting sore from lying in bed, especially my neck. Total cabin fever....doh!!

How are we all. Any ideas what i can do to get back on my feet for thur...i will have to go to work monday.!! Xx

Doc they rarely take em out now...plus im a scaredy! Lol

What tablets did the Dr give you.....name and strength?

Hiya, paracetomol 2 4x daily.... And 250mg phenoxymethylpenicillin two 4x daily....never had these b4 xx thyre tabs noT capsules x

Tbh, im happy with diagnosis, but i expected him to take a few more checks he just looked in my throat and that was all. I was hallucinating etc but didnt take my temp. Oh well xx

drink plenty of fluids and if the going gets tough add Ibuprofen 400mgms twice daily to the above regime...........you should be ready for your holiday.

tink, take your own temp...... fluids. a not too hot shower, and rest, cold drinks may relieve the soreness

tinkerbe.....what useful information would you Dr, have gained by taking your temperature? I don't blame him for omitting that valueless test.

I know sqad hes prob busy, plus paracet will reduce my temp. As i say happy with diagnosis!! Its the resting....urgh soo bored, yet When i do something i feel terrible so ill have to lie down to it! X

sorry to hear you are poorly, Tinks. I have come down with a cold today, I blame this bloody stupid weather. Once you get some antibiotics in you, you should be ok for Thursday. Where are you going ?

You could try some Echinachea, it is better taken before protectively, but I find it does help you get over things. Also Manuka honey although expensive is very beneficial. Hope you get better soon Tink xx
