thank you twirls and blackiequine-was beginning to think I'd never get the final answers on AB that I was happy with, as wasn't happy with "angel" for no 42! you couldn't have asked for a harder clue for 36, but here goes-second part of word is an airborne vehicle (shortened version) first part is a system of transferring money from one account to another-(usually followed by word cheque)-no 72 is what you would normally do on snow slopes preceded by a kind of aeroplane.If you manage to get no 54, please let me know!
