In England the heir to the throne is simply "The Prince of Wales", but in Scotland he is "The Prince Charles, Duke of Roxburgh". Will Camilla be Princess Chales, Duchess of Roxburgh or is there going to be another fudge to pretend Diana was a saint?

Whatever titles she procures she will never be Princess Charles!

Apologies about Roxburghe brain storm. But Charles and Diana were correctly the Prince and Princess of Wales (not Prince Charles, Prince of Wales) and as the intention is not to allow Camilla to use the Princess style in England what will be happening in Scotland where it is not nit picking. Lol and as a commoner she will be Princess Charles, Duchess of Cornwall (unless they forget the inventions and simply say Princess of Wales). The same way that Prince Michael is married to Princess Michael of Kent and Philips parents were the Prince and Princess Andrew of Greece.
Right no nit picking In a pickle but have just looked up the official titles and during her marriage Diana was legally HRH The Princess of Wales - after her divorce she was known as Diana Princess of Wales - she was never legally Princess Diana.

She would like people to use Duchess of Cornwall. Her reasons are private." HRH Duchess of Cornwall is one of many titles automatically bestowed on the wife of the heir to the throne, as is the Duchess of Rothesay, the title used in Scotland. Whatever she is called she will never be loved as Diana was and still is.

He has several titles The Prince of Wales and the Prince Charles Duke of Roxburgh and the Pain In the backside are just a few of them but if he becomes king he will be the King of the United Kingdom.  Not England as people in England seem to think
Appropo of nothing but I would love to be Queen of Ibiza except I am female and all queens here are male!!
Have read in one of the tabloid papers today that Camilla is entitled to use the title "Princess of Wales" but she prefers not to, and when William acceeds to the throne he is going to restore the HRH to his dead mother.

Netibiza, I cant see why he would bother. Diana only had the HRH style because she was married to a HRH Prince. When she divorced she lost it. Thats why Wallis Simpson had to be specifically denied the right to use HRH when she married the Duke of Windsor
Ah bless - just a bit of loyalty on William's part I suspect - we all love our mothers!!

In a pickle - hello.  Princess Margaret was always HRH in her own right not because of being the Countess of Snowden so that's not a very good example.
I also think that Lord Snowden was not of royal birth and his title was made for him - he was not an HRH

In a pickle, styles are governed by letters patent of 1919 as amended. They can be granted by the Queen to others who are not qualified under these letters patent. The Queen can decide who has the style. Margaret was HRH as the daughter and granddaughter of a sovereign she kept Countess of Snowdon in the same way CPB did not need to revert to her maiden name. Around the time of his marriage Phillip was created Duke of Edinburgh and specifically granted the style HRH, just as he was created a Prince in 1957, his style and titles were not assumed by marriage. If he were not given the HRH style then Prince Charles would have had a lower precedence than his cousins
Diana kept her royal title properly differenced to show that she was not the wife of the Prince of Wales, but she had no right to the style HRH

Allen. That the best laugh I've had in a while. Charlie and hard life don't go together.

He's had easy and nothing else.

Oh that I should have people dressing me, driving me around, high class dinners laid on for free, world wind trips to here, there and everywhere just because I was born into a certain family.
