Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Can anyone tell me where abouts in Scotland is Paterson island ? The question of the quiz says Mixed up Prodigal. I have been given the answer Paterson but do not know why Paterson was given apart from the (son in Paterson-prodigal son)

also Question. A bird and a half. I have been given Eileanan but that is 8 letters and there are only 7 in the answer. thanks.

It is a sand spit in the Dornoch Firth but I've no idea why it has been given as an answer. I assumed from the clue that the answer was an anagram of prodigal but can't figure it out.

The prodigal son is also known as the "lost son" (the other parables were the lost sheop and the lost coin)

The Island of Stronsay fits the bill as it is mixed up as "son" + "stray" (to get lost)

The informal saying "a <person or thing> and a half" - means that is an impressive example of their kind. An eagle is an impressive example of a bird and also "egl" is half of the word eagle and the remiainig letters are isay" Roughly an "Eagle I say" ?

Innis Bheag used to be called Paterson Island. It's a strange clue.The parable is about a father and son so I presume that's where pater+son comes from. Paterson isn't in any of my books.djay's Stronsay seems a better answer.

re. quinie Agree Crowlin sounds much better, perhaps there was a mistake in the number of letters.

thank you ab's those two questions have been driving me mad. could not accept entirely paterson as the answer to mixed up prodigal. knew that Innis Bheag was gaelic for paterson island but that made no difference.

Innis Bheag or Paterson Island near Portmahomack in Easter Ross is now permanently attached to the Morrich More due to shifting sands.

I could not find anything better and though Pat-er(r)-son
Sorry I did search a lot of lists
