Still stuck on a few.
I seem to have half an answer for most but am being a bit thick with the other half.
Any help would be great.
20. If Humpty had been, maybe he would not have fallen.
22. This vessel might take in the views and images.
55. This footwear may well exert authority.
67. Provides protection for one type of cattle.
80. Eating tool found in the sand, we hear instead of at the table.
83. Most certainly a pretty predecessor to Granny Smith.
84. Usually followed by those who may well have the needle!
97. May be a blade for timber , but definitely gets the chop.
You are incredibly kind Touchstone telling everyone your answers. I finished the quiz a couple of weeks ago after loads of sleepless nights but I have been following all your clues and find it great that they are all the same answers that I have. The only one I'm dubious about is 25. I have three answers but none of them actually say "that's it" to me. Cheers K
I sent mine off a few days ago Touchstone. I know I abandoned "speech" but can't for the life of me remember whether I put "accent" or "belles" (because of bathing belles at Clacton and hearing bells). I should have kept a copy!! Thanks anyway.
