pedal
pedal
When I was little my mother pronounced Retch as Reach - I still do...
This has been asked before and answered before as PEDAL but I just don't get it. Yes a footlever could be a pedal and Pedal sounds like Peddle but surely including the word PEDDLE makes it too obvious.
To make it consistent with the example, wouldn't the clue have been something like:
foot lever= ?, sell = ? (answer: pedal and peddle)
I agree, factor 30. Mistake somewhere I think
could it be pedal+treddle
sorry meant to put treadle and treddle.but clue words are just too coincidink for it to be anything other than a genuine mistake.
