Thanks all - Play Ball - fitted with other clues and it was "sprinkle" for dredge. Somehow I could not get a dredger on the Clyde out of my mind so forget about sugar dredger! Financial matters fitted in with "economy" . Thanks again
I'll have to look up the meanings of Sprinkle and Dredge- I have never thought of them as possible synonyms for each other.
have you never used a flour dredger or sugar dredger, factor 30?
