Have a cocktail on top of the new Marina Bay Sands hotel, river cruise, a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar at Raffles then happy hour across the road in the New Asia Bar at Swisshotel Stamford (it`s on the 70th floor so you get a great view of the sunset). Dining at the Boat Quay or Clarke Quay.
The hotel has generally good reviews:

I can highly recommend an evening boat trip around the harbour and a visit to the Jurong Bird Park. (And, unlike Beegeebee, I enjoyed my Singapore Sling in the Long Bar of Raffles Hotel!)

Well I have to admit, the Slings are a bit touristy these days. I first had one about 16 years ago and it was made to order and there was nobody in the bar apart from us. These days there are a lot of tourists there and the Slings are pre-made. You used to get one for £6 and got the glass as well. Now they are a lot more than that and there`s no glass included. It`s a `must` though because the architecture is so lovely.
