Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Good morning everyone - it's pretty chilly down here today, but they're promising 22d max next week ... guess the hot stuff is on it's way !!

A nice little bunch of words for us to tackle today - what will we make of these -

I'll bet Kate has a couple of tricky ones up her sleeve - only time will tell.

As always everyone is very welcome to join in - you have till midnight Sunday to post your entry and I hope to have the results posted for breakfast.

Do bear in mind the restriction on word lengths when venturing into MM territory ... not so important here [ within reason, of course ] but over there, it can result in a wasted effort and points are hard enough to come by [and don't I know it !!]

So Good Luck to all - I'm a little early but will post and then get back to my chores .. one way to keep warm, I guess !!

May I take this opportunity to thank all those colleagues who wished me well after cliffyg anounced my hospital stay. I had tablets juggled, blood pressure taken (4 times daily), and daily injections to get my heart rate up initially (from 40+ when taken in), then down from 130+ in hospital, to a manageable rate, when I was released. My score was better than usual with cliffyg performing for me. I shall try to maintain his scoring rate with
