Here is the September edition of the Quizzes and Puzzles round up. Below is a selection of quizzes for the next month.
If anyone out there has any more please feel free to add full details to this thread.

1. In the Countryside 50 questions in aid of Capel le Ferne, closing date 16th September.
2. JUST FAMOUS PEOPLE Solve the clues to find famous people for MATLOCK TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB SUPPORTERS AUXILIARY ASSOCIATION, closing date 30th September.
3. Through the Garden Gate Items you would find in a garden in aid of 6th Chatteris Brownies, closing date 30th September.
4. Lizzes Quizzes (3) 50 questions, each with 2 clues and 2 rhyming answers in aid of Macmillan Cancer Supprt, closing date 15th October.
5. DOWN THE TUBES 100 cryptic clues all answers are London tube, DLR and London Overground stations raising money for MAGPAS, closing date 17th October.
6. What Not To Wear Quiz about things that can be worn to raise money for Dean Gibson School, closing date 29th October.
7. new 'FLOWERS' quiz 100 general knowledge questions all with a reference to the name of a flower in either the question or the answer in aid of HAMPSHIRE SEARCH AND RESCUE's (Charity No. 1098332), closing date 31st October.
8. Cities, Towns & Villages Quiz Funds raised for St John's Church Grayrigg, Nr Kendal, closing date 30th November.
9. Buxton Mountain Rescue Quiz 2 60 questions General Knowledge/Cryptic/Anagrams of place names in British Isles containing name of an animal, closing date 3rd December.
10. Pink Quiz 75 clues leading to place names, from countries to villages in aid of Breast Cancer Research at Lincoln Hospital, closing date 31st January.
11. Family Quiz 65 questions in 5 categories (Just William, Colours, Sports men and women, Nursery rhymes and what year?) in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust, closing date 31st January.

Nursery Rhymes Quiz. 40 Initial letter clues all with an answer that is a childs nursery rhyme.
i.e. AFWAC = A Froggy Went A Courting, get the idea, well why don't you have a go?

Buxton Mountain Rescue Quiz 2.
Hi, just an update on sales. So far sold 75 sheets since 1st September to which I am most grateful to all who have supported this worthy cause. I am hoping to make as much as I can but would dearly love to be able to hand over at least £100. I am personally donating the prize money, printing and my time and now I am asking for your help to raise that little bit more. The team, as well as others have featured on the Helicopter Heroes being broadcast at present on BBC1 and if anyone watches this, you will see what difficulties they face which as you no doubt know is all done by volunteers. Still plenty of time to apply as closing date isn't until 3rd December. See link for full details:
