Scottish Accents

I was beginning to get a wee bit annoyed that every time a Scot appeared on a Television or Radio programme they seemed to speak with a Glasgow accent, irrespective of where the story line was set.
Then I heard Andy Stewart's recording of "The Rumour" where he travels all round Scotland demonstrating the various accents to be heard across the country.
I doubt if anyone else will be interested but the track is available on I-tunes

Well, here's one voice coach who believes in the existence of a 'general' Scottish accent. Perhaps he's the person you need to complain to!
