East Germany before the wall came down
Any books on east Germany in the period a decade (or so) before the Berlin wall came down? Ideally they would be factual but easy to read fir a non historian who is simply interested in this period? Tia

Evedawn - You won't be disappointed, better than a lot of Hollywood driven pap thats out thesedays. One of my favourite foreign language films ever.
BTW there a lot of East German related stuff on youtube if you a prepared to look for it, including some of the last news bulletins on DDR-FS before reunification and Eric Honecker related material.
