'Tis Sunday once more and what better way to celebrate the best day of the week thn cooking a special meal for your loved ones?

Sunday is a day to eat, drink and be merry... and as you all know, calories don't count on a Sunday.

On our menu today it's roast chicken, sausagemeat and thyme stuffing, bread sauce, duck fat roasties, cabbage, peas, broccoli, balsamic roasted carrots, roast parsnips and gravy.

What's on your menu today?

Ginge is working today, J is playing footie, O will probably go out....so I'm just going to do a stew.
... and tbh NoM, OH and I were only talking about this the other day, we can't face great big meals any more - we have realised that we are starting to prepare smaller portions with maybe only two veg, and rarely potatoes. I couldn't cope with all that you are planning!
Roast lamb, potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, carrots runner beans and yorkshire puds - yummy.
Havent decided yet, yours is making me very hungry, and your desert is ? :D
How simply marvellous!

I don't eat big portions but I do like variety.

You can't beat a hearty stew and a good red wine, Ummmm.
No desert, no starters.
What time do you want us to arrive?
(Actually, we are having slow-cooker braised beef, with Roasties vegetables and all the trimmings).
We don't do starters - or if we do, we forego a dessert, we can't do both!
