The club is now open.

Sadly I have succumbed to what the Doctor-Johnnies call 'a virus' . I rallied briefly this afternoon, but sadly have faded again this evening.
So, please look after yourselves as I retire to bed with a hot water bottle and P G Woodhouse.
(Mamya, get my raffle tickets, please. Don't want to miss out.)

Get well soon, ladyalex, xx
Milady you should have stayed in your chamber, I shall bring up some beef tea as a restorative soon.

Good evening everyone, the buffet sideboard is well stocked with many delicacies, this weeks guest tailcock if Huggahugga to keep us warm on these cold dark evenings.

For the ROFL I bring

Box of Lavender bath cubes
Tin of pineapple chunks
3 bars of Camay
Sorry to hear you are under the weather milady.
A hot rum toddy wil help. Hope you are better soon x

For the riffle I can offer half a tin of duraglit and full bottle of brasso.
Sorry to here you are unwell m'lady... might I suggest retiring to bed with something a little warmer than P G Wodehouse....it would save getting up to refill your hot water bottle.

I have found a jar of pink chocolate mice perhaps they would make a suitable offering for your waffle...

DT Crossword fan intends to challenge me to a poetry contest next week so I'd better shoot off and practice my versification... you will excuse me I hope
Good evening m'lady, Matron & guests - I'm sorry, but I will be unable to join the festivities tonight as I am engaged with other activities.

I hope everyone is well & that you all have an enjoyable evening :-)
The cloak-room is going to be a mess :)

Who pinched the jug of huggahugga, couldn't have been Rowan...
So sorry was just taking Milady a warming pan and some beef tea.

Huggahuggas a plenty in the punch bowl, lots of nibbles too.
Not me...I'm on the cold remedies too the great classic rum n beechams off to bed myself... with a rhyming dictionary as bed time reading
Night Rowan I think a few have succumbed to the cold,
Sorry to be so late, watching Strictly. Then had to spend a ridiculous amount of money.
Would suggest whisky, honey and lemon for ladyalex whichever virus it is, so comforting.
Ruffle-wise (which I never was) I have a Teach Yourself Serbo-Croat book, an iron door stop and a pacet of Rolos. (Two missing)
Hi Mamya
can only bring a beaten docken and a piece of stilton
If I have a Huggahugga and keep my coat around my shoulders I should be lovely and warm. Note to self. Check whether viruses prefer warmth or coolth.
I have lit the fire in the Library for extra comfort, what super gifts you all bring - I think, not sure of a docken??
sorry beaten docket, useless lucky 15
The library. Bliss. May I take my tailcock in there? So sad there is no one to nibble.
Of course you may have drawn the Chesterfield closer to the hearth if all is quiet then we may as well be snug.
Shame on you Mi'lady, in bed with PG Woodhouse, where are Alex and Joe?? Probably under your bed playing chess.
Soz Mamya, just called in to say hellol.
who is manning the moat --health and safety
We seem to be a man or two done tonight, this is the trouble when bugs are around.
