don't understand your answer please explain
Question Author
Sorry the winner, seems an excellent answer, i really intended to asl calibax to explain rationale of market trader
As Calibax provided the answer I think it right that the explanation should be left to him/her. Will provide answer or alternative later.
Tick it = Mark it

Crimson picture goes back (meaning backwards) = RED ART backwards, makes trader.

i.e. Market trader
Question Author
Calibax. After more thought, your answer is excellent, well done and a big thank you.
The only problem is the 'e' in market, guess that's down to the Compilers Licence. Nice one TheWinner
Of course the ? mark after 'Tick it' could indicate 'sounds like' -hence Market for Mark It.
Sorry not to reply sooner. As others have said;
Market sounds like Mark it and trader is Red art reversed (going back)
Could the second one be Goldsmith?
For no2 I thought of bartender tender -soft and bar for barium but it's ba -back to the drawing board
Question Author
Thankyou The Winner Goldsmith certainly sounds promising.
Thanks to all for your help greatly appreciated.
