Well, how very helpful of the Mods to remove the answer to this question. I was in need of it, too, could only think it started with 'crag'. Thanks to us all being treated as little kiddies whose ears should be covered with protecting 'adult' hands, we've been deprived of a question answer which was fit to be printed in the Sunday Telegraph, for goodness. sake! Cannot a bit of common sense prevail?

Yes, sincnoel, one of my mates in the pub ventured similar, but it started with b and ended with d! Honestly, are we not grown up enough for answers to a respected newspaper's crossword to be rendered here? I fear a return to the days when I answered a question on The Archers message board.
The question was 'Which Archers character do you think would be most likely to wear a leather catsuit?'. (Pretty racy stuff, eh?). I replied with one word - 'Lilian!', and promptly got an e-mail informing me that it was forbidden to 'treat a message board as a chat-room' and 'call for individual posters by name'.
Needless to say, my response was excoriating, and my message was restored. I believe the Mods were rather underpaid students at the time.
