Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

can anyone tell me how these instant comps work

You enter a code from their product onto there web site and are immediately informed whether you have won or not. If there is only one big prize, they are not going to give you the one and only prize with 6 months still to go before closing date are they. I don't see how it works. Can ayone enlighten me?

I have often wondered that also, special as I know my answer is correct,
sorry I can't help ~ hope someone comes on and enlightens us

I don't know either, but the ones I enter (e.g. Cokezone) you have to enter barcode numbers. I suppose on those, they have already pulled the number from the hat.

I remember entering a competition being run by a well known bread company. I buy a lot of their products and entered every code on every packet but to no avail. At the end of the competition I seem to remember that no prize was awarded. I take it that the person who had bought the product that had the winning code number they had chosen, had not entered the competition. ? Needless to say, I now don't bother with these types of comps. as I don't think I could ever be TheWinner.

I guess they don't have to announce a winner until the competition period is over, so you wouldn't know if it had already gone.
And a lot of people who buy the product don't attempt it so as TheWinner says, a lot can go unclaimed.

The person who DID have the winning code, didn't enter.
I found out, by checking, when the competition had closed.

Thank you for all your answers. What my real query is -if you had the winning code on the first day of a 6 months comp. and they say you will know immediately and its a brand new campervan what would stop you from telling everybody and that would kill the comp stone dead. So I don't think they would release the winning code until the very last day which makes a mockery of the whole thing
