There was a Euro qualifier played at Old Trafford in 2008
England 0 Macedonia 0

England 2 Macedonia 2 in 2002 Euro qualifier,played at Southampton

well now, I am sure of my letters M?C?D?N?A ....so is there another country with these letters, or is the clue wrong,

Just spotted that it is a Scottish newspaper,maybe Scotland played them..but the answer is certainly Macedonia...and as pointed out ..no WC in 2008

Just googled, Scotland did indeed play macedonia, the clue might have been a bit clearer as the Daily record crossy is done by people outside of Scotland, we are in the middle of a storm at the moment.Brrrr
