Christmas eve at midnight i walked into the kitchen to get a bottle of champers to celebrate christmas & found myself paddling around in 2" of hot water. Someone (Mr Nobody) had left the tap running for 2 hours, it took nearly 2 hours to clean it all up.
Christmas morning the TV was dead...I called on the bloke accross the rd (an electrition) he found a wire was disconnected. (No charge)
Christmas dinner we forgot the batter pudding in the oven, so it ended up as a burnt offering.
Anyone else have any christmas disasters?

Yep, we had a power cut at 4pm, lasted for 2.5 hours, thank goodness for battery operated christmas lights, the food was all done too. But we were just plunged into darkness !! Xmas dinner by torchlight was certainly different.
