Online shopping reliable and cheap

Please could you tell me, from personal experience, which is the best online shopping in regards to reliability and cheap, thank you.

Sports Direct have some real bargains just now.

Tesco seems really good to us when we have them so would recommend them. Sainsbury's good too but only had them twice so far. Think they are all swings and roundabouts, good and bad at anytime you just have to try them.

never had any problems with Amazon and got a top range kenwood at a couple of hundred pounds off the price I could find in the shops

I use Amazon and have found them to be very good too.

Oh so I was on the right track from the start LOL...glad I got something right <smile>

I use Asda for groceries. They have recently changed their site so if they bring a substitute you don't want they will take it back and refund you straightaway. If they bring you a substitute that is more expensive or bigger than the one you ordered, you only pay the original price. Only downside is that they don't put the shopping into bags so the delivery person has to stand there while you unpack each item.

Thank you for your answers. My son is looking for an alternative to ASDA really, as he has been badly let down by them. But if people have good experiences of ASDA I'd be interested to hear that too.

I always use Tesco. They inform you of any substitutes at the door so you can hand them back if you don't want them. The one big advantage that Tesco has over the other of course is Clubcard points. Over the course of a year you can rack up approaching £100 which comes in handy for the Xmas big shop.

According to Which? the best online food shopping is Waitrose and Ocado - but neither is cheap. The rest were all of a muchness.

After years of using Tesco I now use Waitrose. They have price matches with Tesco and I find their own products, whilst slightly more expensive, are of better quality.
The extra expense is offset by the free delivery if you spend more than £50.

.......and when my shopping came from Waitrose yesterday I was informed as it was my 20th order they had included a free bottle of champagne!
