Camping Dinner Set for 1
14 Answers
Hi all,
I'm looking for recommendations for a really good packaway camping crockery set for 1 person. It's for my boys when they go away to camp with the scouts. they need to take a mug, a bowl and a plate - I've been giving them various assorted plastic things and they have a Spork each for cutlery, but I'd love to find a good quality set that folds away neatly that they could take.
Thanks in advance :o)

smurf - thats kind of what they have - just cheap stuff, but it doesn't fit together and takes up space - I was hoping there was a nice wee kit.
smart, that not a bad option - doesn't seem to have a bowl though.
zacs - yeah you'd think wouldn't you!? lol - been on go outdoors and nothing that hits the mark.
DT - they are serious enough but that would be a bit expensive given that they are probably going to lose bits. Looks good kit though.

That "light my fire meal kit" looks just the job I think. that came up on both DT link and when I searched for mess kit on ebat so looks like fate may be pointing to it - at around £15 a set it is priced about right and I can get it two different colours so they know who's is who's and won't be blaming each other for losing bits :o)
