What colour/s go best with a black and white quilt?

Red can be stunning with black and white, but there are a few colours that would go very well. Using pale colours would highlight the black and dark colours would make the white stand out more.

Almost any colour....particularly primary colours (red,blue),and all the stronger colours they make-purples,shocking pinks,teal,turquoise,etc.

With black and white you could go with anything, do you have any other colours in the room?

At the moment the walls are pale yellow and the curtains are mid-blue.

Well, you've 2 primary colours there. Are you actually making the quilt to go in the room or is the quilt already made and you want to decorate around it?
