MM Links Results March 2012 Week 3
21 Answers
There were lots of possibilities again this weekend with the possibility of another low-scoring week ensuing.
It was all down to 'Princess Diana' (aka Grannydi). Dis she go for the obvious ones or the obscure ones?
Thankfully she went for some of the more obvious ones which can now be revealed.
DINNER PARTY
PLAYING CARDS
WINE GLASS
WASHING LINE
Aren't you a lucky bunch! 43 points handed out. Thank you grannydi.

Those discoveries then opened up a two-minute bonus window of which several players took advantage. 2 points go to:
Dinner PARY: tearinghair, beejay1124 & Brenden
PLAYING cards: patchett
Washing LINE: tearinghair, patchett, fordward & Brenden
At just 9:03, the final pairing of WINE GLASS was downed by owllady for her 2 points.
Only single points were then available but several claims were made with particular mentions for double-hitters: kawakiri, Manxiemo, ulusses100 & joto.
So for being the only treble hitter and highest scorer, I declare
**** THE HOTSHOT ****

Well, Roslyn's fistful of points catapaults her into the lead.
Manxiemo's 2 points means that the New Zealand tourists are neck and neck with fordward as runners-up
8 roslyn251254
6 Christiana
6 fordward
6 Manxiemo
5 Brenden
4 Aquagility
4 beejay1124
4 kawakiri
4 owllady
4 patchett
4 tearinghair
4 ulysses100
3 albaqwerty (Mr)
3 Handbaglady
3 middlestump
3 x-ray
then

and
12 on 1 point
There are two more weeks of play this month so it still could be any of you at the top in a fortnight's time
Don't forget there is also our sister game of the KM links (overseen by seekeerz) that also runs every weekend in Q&P. That version is based on the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords, and has no time-sensitive bonus points so play it at your leisure up to midnight Sunday.
Next weekend, Same time, Same place,
so until then
Happy Linking
