We have made some drastic changes to our garden over the last couple of years and it is now starting to come together. I grew my own veg last year for the first time - i might add i am worried about the hosepipe ban this year and ask myself is it worth planting anything? Anyway my question is we have a long fence (post and rail with netting to stop dog getting out) i would like to grow some pretty shrubs along it to make a pretty sight rather than the boring fence. It is probably 50 metres long could someone suggest what to plant that would be colourful, interesting and pretty throughout the year. Probably growing to 6 - 8 ft tall. I shall be planting small plants and bulbs infront of it too.
