Stuck on a couple:-

"Old soldiers' favourite song" (5,2,3)

and

"Everything in the world is lovely" (3,5,5,3,9). (You'd think it should be "All things bright and beautiful", but the numbers don't fit. All other numbers on the sheet are correct).

Thanks as ever.

I am inclined to agree, Quizmonkey, but was giving her/him the benefit of the doubt! Still can't see the other one, though. . .

Thanks, slaney. Was this not the sailors' song, rather than the soldiers'? Not sure. Maybe you're right.

Any new suggestions, please?

Still stuck on the top one; hoping for help. Many thanks.
I found a song on you tube called:- 'Peace of God' sung by Tarralyn Ramsey.

I've been going through all my old hymn books, but I cant really find anything
that matches your clue. I thought it might begin with 'march' because of the
soldier reference. If you get time try listening to the song I mentioned at the
top of the page. First time I heard it. It's got lovely words. Good luck with your quiz!

Thanks, cupid04. Not convinced, since all the other answers are quite easy, pretty obvious, well-known songs and hymns. Still, you could be right . . .!
Bless em all?

Would love to see the whole quiz New2Quizzes - where was it published please? I produce a newsletter for our ladies group at Church and they would enjoy this one ........
I'd like to have a go at the quiz as well. I'ts not one of those listed in quizzes
and puzzles.

Dear Ann86 and cupid04,

The quiz is from a church club. I got it from a friend, one of the organisers and contributed £1. I guess, ideally, they like a stamped, self-addressed envelope and £1. Not sure how this is done and wouldn't want to lessen their chances of raising a few pounds for the club. Let me know if you have experience of this kind of fundraising.

Best wishes and thank you.
